American Indian, First Nation, Alaskan and Hawaiian
Native, and Indigenous Peoples Studies and Research
The Institute prides itself in working
both with and for indigenous peoples, as well as various other organizations.
The Institute houses a full library which we are constantly updating
when funds are available (we also accept donations), as well as hundreds
of articles, research documents, government publications, and much more.
We make this information available to indigenous organizations at a
minimal cost, as well as conduct research in various areas such as archaeological
site review and protection, ethnographic interviews and impact assessments,
cultural history documentation, archival research, NAGPRA studies, NRDA,
ethnobotanical and ethnozoological studies, and much more. The Institute
also publishes Indigenous
Peoples Issues and Resources as part of its outreach activities.
Below are some of the general documents the Institute
has compiled which are open to the public. Specific publications produced
by the Institute are located in the Publications
section. Please feel free to contact us for specific requests or
to learn how we may help you in your specific needs. info@bauuinstitute.com.
